LHIHC has been honored as an outstanding enterprise in the "Proactive Evaluation of Occupational Health and Safety Indicators in Corporate Sustainability Reports" for the year 112.
Lien Hwa Industrial Holding Corp. has been honored by the "Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Ministry of Labor" as one of the top 10% outstanding enterprises in the 112th year in the "Proactive Evaluation of Occupational Health and Safety Indicators in Corporate Sustainability Reports."
The industries evaluated this year include the electronics industry, financial and insurance industry, construction materials and construction industry, food industry, and chemical industry (including plastic, textile, and rubber industries). The total number of companies evaluated is 330 listed companies and 94 over-the-counter companies, with 32 listed companies and 10 over-the-counter companies being selected.
In the food industry category, both Lien Hwa and Uni-President, two companies, have received this honor.
For the first time, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Ministry of Labor collaborated with the Global Corporate Sustainability Forum (GCSF). On November 16th, the "Promotion of Workplace Sustainable Health and Safety Achievement Presentation" was held at the Grand Hotel in Taipei, publicly commending outstanding enterprises.
The "Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Ministry of Labor " commissioned the Safety and Health Technology Center to analyze the annual public ESG reports of enterprises. By analyzing the reports' Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) leading indicators, the current situation was showcased. The aim was to establish baseline data for OSH in listed and over-the-counter companies in Taiwan, conduct proactive evaluations, and publicly commend outstanding enterprises for encouragement.
In this year's evaluation, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration adopted the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) 403 2018: "Occupational Health and Safety" indicators and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) indicators. Lien Hwa Investment Holding's outstanding performance was recognized, earning them the Outstanding Enterprise Award in the top 10%.
